Kruger National Park Tour Builder

Whilst in the Kruger Park I would like to visit the following regions:
Southern

This area is recommended for the shorter stays in the park - 2 nights. It is usually busy. The vegetation supports a good animal diversity, and there are many different habitats.
Central

This area is recommended for the medium stays in the park - 3 to 4 nights. This region is quiet out of season. This is an area of rolling savannah and open grassland. It supports a similar animal community to the Southern section of the park and has a good animal diversity.
Northern

This area is for the slightly longer stays in the park. It is more remote, quiet, and has smaller camps. The animal community is different to the Southern and Central areas, and this area supports the highest concentration of Elephant and Buffalo in the park. The far Northern section known as Pafuri is the only region of the park where some of the Afro-tropical vegetation is to be found with the associated birds and animals.

My particular interests are:

Animal watching

Birdwatching in the Kruger National Park

Kruger National Park Tours and Holidays

Animal photography
Bird watching
Bird photography
Landscapes
General wildlife
I want to cover as much of the ecology and eco-zones of the park as possible
I want a general tour in the park with time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere
While in the Kruger National Park I would also like to Go on a guided night drive looking for animals with spotlights
Go on a guided safari in an open vehicle
Go on a walk in the bush under the supervision of an armed ranger

I would like the following type of accommodation:

Should you have heard of, or know any particular camp - you can select them here. You can select several options - hold the Control key down and click with your mouse on the options you want to select.

NOTE: Camps with swimming pools are marked with an *

You can select just the type of camp, select more specific camps - or

Check this box to let Touch Africa Safaris make some recommendations

Talamati has a hide overlooking a waterhole which is lit at night

Small Camp

Accommodation with air-conditioning, shop, restaurant, some camps with swimming pool - indicated with an *

Lower Sabie is beautifully situated overlooking the Sabie River

Pretoriuskop, Shingwedzi and Punda Maria are a must for bird-lovers

Punda Maria - a fantastic, quiet old-fashioned camp

Large Camp

Accommodation with air-conditioning, shop, restaurant, some camps with swimming pool - indicated with an *

Letaba has a very interesting "Elephant Museum"

Olifants camp is beautifully situated on a hill high above the Olifants river

"Panorama Route" Builder
I would like to spend                of my holiday in Hazyview so that I can visit the "Panorama Route'
(NB - please check that this corresponds with the field above!)

Kruger National Park Tours and Holidays

The "Panorama Route" is a beautiful scenic area centred around the escarpment of the "Transvaal Drakensberg". It is a scenic drive with many different routes. It is possible to do the main scenic drive in half a day - this can then be done en-route to or from the Kruger National Park. It is not absolutely necessary to stay outside the Kruger National Park in order the enjoy the scenic wonders of this area. An overnight stay in a hotel conveniently situated in the town of Hazyview does make for a relaxed day tour of the "Panorama Route".

The standard "Panorama Route" includes the following sites:- God's Window / Wonder View, Blyde River Canyon / Three Rondawels, Bourke's Luck Potholes and the Berlin Waterfall

The well-known historical village of Pilgrim's Rest is also situated in this area. A visit can be done - but please allow a day for a visit to this historical site.

A further interesting visit is to the Hoedspruit Cheetah Project. This is a project set up for the breeding of endangered species, and a tour can be arranged around the facility - again please allow a day for a visit to this facility.

Should you choose to visit both the historical village of  Pilgrims' Rest as well as the Hoedspruit Cheetah Project - it will be necessary to overnight in the Hazyview area for at least one night - possibly even two.
Here are a few options to choose from:
Visit the "Panorama Route" either en-route to or from the Kruger National Park
Visit the "Panorama Route" either en-route to or from the Kruger National Park with a stay-over in Hazyview
I would also like to visit Pilgrim's Rest - this will require a minimum 1 night stay in Hazyview
I would also like to visit the Hoedspruit Cheetah Project - this will require a minimum 1 night stay in Hazyview
